The J.W. Logan house, once located at 426 W. Fourth Street, Waterloo, Iowa. The house was also notable as the birthplace of Lou Henry Hoover.

The date of the original photograph is uncertain. It was published in the August 18, 1928 edition of the Waterloo Evening Courier. The house was built in 1872 and demolished in 1926.
